Hyundai N Performance Number Plate Guard

Client: Hyundai Motor Group
Date: 2024

Inspired by the iconic booster button on the N Line’s steering wheel, the Hyundai N Line License Plate Guard was designed as a retail product that brings performance-driven emotion into daily driving.

Its sculptural form evokes the dynamic lines of racing machines, while high-quality automotive materials and OEM-level standards ensure durability and precision. More than a functional accessory, it extends the ‘N Line’ identity as a lifestyle expression for global customers.

Hyundai N Line Emblem

Client: Hyundai Motor Group
Date: 2024

The Hyundai N Line Emblem Design Project was developed as a limited-edition gift for international VIP customers, celebrating Hyundai N line’s premium identity and global reach.

Tailored for cultural resonance, 200 emblems were crafted for Chinese clients and 50 for Japanese recipients—each reflecting the distinct aesthetics and values of their markets. Designed with precision and symbolic intent, the emblems serve as exclusive branding artifacts that deepen loyalty and elevate the N Line experience through personalized recognition.

LOCH
Lounge Chiller

Concept Project
Date: 2024

This concept reimagines the home wine refrigerator as a sculptural object, combining premium materials with a refined, two-tiered configuration. A lower wine cellar ensures ideal storage conditions, while a concealed upper chiller provides a dedicated space to chill wine for enjoyment.

Designed for those who value both elegance and function, the unit blends minimalist form with quiet precision—bringing a sense of ritual and sophistication to everyday wine moments.

BLWD

Water Dispenser

Concept Project
Date: 2024

Conceived to enhance usability in low-light environments, this water purifier concept integrates ambient illumination directly at the spout—making it easy to monitor water flow and serving volume, even at night.

Its block-like form is deliberately minimal, allowing the product to blend seamlessly into a variety of interior spaces while maintaining a refined, premium presence. A large, tactile push-button governs water dispensing, providing users with a clear physical response at both the start and end of operation.

Beyond functionality, the design emphasizes intuitive interaction and subtle visual cues, resulting in an appliance that quietly elevates daily routines through thoughtful design and human-centered detail.

OPOF

One Plate One Fork

Concept Project
Date: 2025

This concept presents a refined tableware set—One Plate One Fork—that intuitively introduces the Italian way of enjoying pasta. By removing the spoon, it invites users to experience a more authentic, tradition-driven dining ritual.

The fork rests naturally on the plate’s rim, aligned through a subtle wave motif that visually unifies the set. Designed to guide behavior without explanation, it blends clarity, elegance, and function in one minimal gesture.

More than just tableware, it offers a thoughtful, culturally rooted dining experience for both homes and restaurants.

LINCHPIN
Countertop Faucet

Client: American Standard
Date: 2021

(Project at Joonghochoi Studio)

Linchpin faucet reinterprets utilitarian form through the lens of natural elegance—drawing inspiration from the fluid contours of desert dunes. Its silhouette balances flowing curves with controlled geometry, resulting in a fixture that feels both sculptural and serene.

The extended spout and rounded lever work in quiet unison, offering intuitive function through a clean, uninterrupted surface. Every transition is softened, every edge intentional—creating a seamless dialogue between motion and restraint.

More than a faucet, it becomes a design statement that elevates the daily ritual of water use into a refined and tactile experience.

Shower Faucet

Client: American Standard
Date: 2021

(Project at Joonghochoi Studio)

Concept explores two distinct interpretations of modernity in shower faucet design—one grounded in architectural rigor, the other in sculptural softness. Both expressions offer a refined interaction between geometry and utility.

The linear form emphasizes clarity and structure, composed of interlocking volumes with precise proportions. In contrast, the curved design introduces gentle transitions and softened corners, evoking a calm, approachable character.

Though visually distinct, both are unified by their commitment to intuitive function and formal integrity—transforming the daily act of showering into a moment of refined utility and elevated design.

SUPERIOR

Countertop Faucet

Client: American Standard
Date: 2021

(Project at Joonghochoi Studio)

Faucet design inspired by the fluid topography of desert dunes—where time and wind shape soft, continuous surfaces into sculptural forms. A composition that merges gentle arcs with precise transitions, delivering both visual clarity and functional refinement.

Handle and spout form a balanced interaction: the disc-shaped lever appears to float above the cylindrical body, introducing a sense of elevation and ease. Every element is resolved with intention, guiding natural, intuitive use.

A convergence of nature and precision engineering, offering a calming visual presence and a thoughtfully tactile experience in daily rituals.

SUPERIOR

(Project at Joonghochoi Studio)

Shower faucet designed to capture the soft dynamism of desert dunes through gentle curves and a refined silhouette.

The front face features a flowing surface that adds movement to the structured form, while integrated controls maintain a clean, minimal appearance. Material choices and proportions were optimized for both visual harmony and everyday usability.

A functional product reimagined as a sculptural object—bringing clarity, texture, and calm to the modern bathroom.

Ollie
Rebranding for Tumbler Brand

Client: Ollie
Date: 2021

Originally a B2B tumbler brand supplying premium clients such as Genesis, Ollie initiated a strategic rebranding to support its transition into the B2C market.

Focusing on women in their 20s and 30s, the project redefined the brand’s entire visual identity—spanning packaging, product photography, and digital design.
FSC-certified bamboo blend paper and fully paper-based packaging were used to communicate Ollie’s sustainability values, while soft colors, subtle textures, and clean layouts enhance the everyday sensory experience and emotional connection with the product.
